What is Nag Me?
Nag Me is a really useful service that reminds or alerts you to the fact that horses you have selected to follow are set to make an appearance on the racecourse.

Why would I want Nag Me?
Nag Me is invaluable for anyone who likes or follows horseracing whether you bet or not. Nag Me will ensure you will never miss out:

  • When you've had a tip on a horse but unsure of when it is running
  • When you've noticed a horse in running and you want to know when it is next engaged on course
  • When your horses to follow are running
  • If you follow particular horses or trainers
  • If you've ever missed out on a horse running!
  • How much does Nag Me cost?
    A yearly subscription of £5.00 allows you to receive email alerts for up to 25 horses of your choice. SMS Text Message alerts to your mobile phone cost an additional 25p per message sent.

    How many horses can I set to be alerted on?
    Your subscription allows you to be alerted by email for up to 25 horses. An unlimited number of horses can be set up via the SMS option, so allowing you to have over 25 horses.

    When will I receive my alerts?
    Each day our sophisticated system will check your Nag Me horses set up for email alerts against the following day's declared runners. If one of your horses is due to run we will send you an email alert at around 3pm the day before your horse is set to run. On the day of the race, any horses you have selected to be alerted about via SMS that are due to run that day will be texted to you early that morning.

    How do I pay?
    When you subscribe to the Nag Me service, you will be taken through a simple payment mechanism run on our behalf by ClickandBuy. This is a fast, simple and secure way to pay for any service using a ClickandBuy account. You can choose to pay by credit card, debit card, online direct debit or even via your BT telephone bill. About ClickandBuy. SMS Alerts are billed via your mobile operator.

    What mobile phone networks are supported by Nag Me SMS alerts?
    Nag Me SMS alerts are supported by all UK networks.

    How do I set up Nag Me?
    Once you have registered and responded to the SMS confirmation (if applicable) , you can then start to put together your Nag Me stable. Our automated database contains all UK and Irish horses and training and it is a simple case of searching by name. Once you have reached the horse's profile page you can then click on the link or button above its name to add it to your stable. You will then be set up for SMS and email alerts on that horse. From then on, you can add to your stable or at any time, and via the subscription details page view the horses you have selected and update or amend the existing alert preference for each runner.

    Will I be Nagged if my horse races in another country other than the UK or Ireland?
    Unfortunately we are unable to alert you if you your horse is declared to run in other countries.

    How do I remove horses from my Nag Me list?
    Deselecting both the SMS and email tickboxes and clicking update will remove the horse from your alerts list altogether.

    How can I renew my subscription
    Your Nag Me subscription will expire after one year. At the end of the year on the next login you will be prompted to renew you subscription using a ClickandBuy secure payment service. About ClickandBuy
    Note. You will not be allowed to access your stable until you renew your subscription and all your Nag Me e-mails and SMS messages will stop.

    What if I want to update my personal details?
    Login to your account and go to 'Change Account Info'.

    What if I forget my password?
    The login screen has a 'Forgot your password' link that will email your password to the email address registered on the account.

    Where can I find Nag Me?
    Links to Nag Me are throughout sportinglife.com's racing section and also next to each runner on racecards allowing you to quickly and easily add horses to your account.

    Who is behind Nag Me?
    Nag Me is a service provided as part of sportinglife.com by Sporting Life UK Ltd.

    What happens if I miss an alert?
    In the very unlikely event that you miss out on a horse due to a problem outside of our control, we cannot be held liable for losses on any bets you may have had on any of the horses in your account that subsequently win. To make doubly sure of being alerted about the horse we highly recommend you use the additional SMS message option.
